Join the Team Rideshare USA team
Complete the driver interest form so your recruiter and team leader can reach you and get you assigned.

Attend an orientation call or Zoom
Sit in on one team call, Zoom, or conference session so you understand the cooperative model before you enroll.

Background check — $25
Run through HireRight. This is the only upfront cost to join the cooperative.

Co-op knowledge quiz
A 100% passing score is required so every driver-owner understands how the cooperative works.

Sign the membership agreement
Officially join as a fractional shareholder. Full members receive their agreement upon joining.

Install the Fare Co-op driver app, log in with your member credentials, and start accepting rides.

Driver requirements
Every driver completes the background check, quiz and membership agreement. Additional requirements depend on the kind of driving you do.
Rideshare drivers
- NYC (TLC): valid TLC driver license, TLC insurance and TLC vehicle registration
- All other states: comply with local rideshare licensing, insurance and inspection laws
Private-for-hire (black car, taxi, limo)
- Commercial driver's license as required by your state
- Commercial insurance meeting state minimums for for-hire vehicles
- Vehicle inspection or registration for your vehicle class
Delivery drivers
- Simplest path: background check, quiz and membership agreement only
- No additional licensing or commercial insurance required
